Caroline had a decent night. There were not too many dips in her breathing, but they did have to help her come back up the few times she dropped. So far today, it has been okay.
Her chest x-ray came back normal. However, her white blood count is elevated, which means there could be an infection. She is also somewhat lethargic today. It could be something as simple as a urinary tract infection or something more. We may not know for 48 hours from the time of the tests (last night). She has been receiving antibiotics since last night, so hopefully it gets caught.
That is all for now. We will update when we know something.
Hoping for a quick recovery. She's a strong one so I'm sure whatever it is will give up and move out of her body soon. Hang in there. Tough day.
