Katie would have been 34 weeks pregnant today. When we first discovered that Katie had to go on bed rest (26 weeks), the doctors said they would deliver if she made it to 34 weeks. It is hard to imagine someone being on bed rest in the hospital for that long. One of our Methodist nurses told us about a woman that went on bed rest at 12 or 13 weeks and made it to week 34. Apparently, that woman didn't have another child.
Katie is at dinner with a friend. I am going up to the hospital for some Father/Daughter time. I hope your night is as exciting as mine.
