The doctors came by this afternoon and were talking about sending Caroline to Level 2 NICU. As the conversation was ongoing, Caroline started having a few small destats with her oxygen levels. They re-positioned her, but the destats continued. They decided to give her nasal cannulas so that she gets a little shot of oxygen. She recovered to normal levels almost immediately. I am not sure how long she will have to wear them.
Katie and I got a letter today from a little African girl that we sponsor through our old church. She said she was praying for Katie this October since she was having a baby. It made me think about the little girl a lot tonight and, of course, Caroline. Every time I start to drift, I get a reminder of how great we have it.

yes, we have so many blessings to count! i know that God is honored when we remember that every good and perfect gift is from Him. every praise also has a prayer for His continued protection and provision. give my adorable great-niece a special hug...
