You may remember my post about the different countries that have visited this blog. For the most part, I can identify the people viewing in a different country. In the last week, however, we have had hits from Germany and...Iceland! I have absolutely no idea who is viewing in Iceland. My brother used to be obsessed with an Icelandic (is that right?) musician named Bjork, so maybe she is viewing the blog. We absolutely don't mind anyone viewing the blog if they have an interest. I do not have an update on "Babygirl Cooper", as the doctors call her. I am hopeful that she did well during the night with the minimal CPAP pressure. Our primary nurse was on duty yesterday and should be today. She was going to try to convince the doctors to move Caroline to an open air bed today. That is good, because I do not want her to get too comfortable in that $40,000 incubator. We do not have one of those on Norris Drive.
Your posts never fail to make me laugh, Ryan! Love it! Don't worry the adjustment from the incubator to the hospital crib with all the bells and whistles to finally the "cheap" crib at home is pretty seamless :O) Although they do get really really used to that memory foam mattress. And momma can't afford that.
ReplyDeleteWho hasn't been obsessed with Bjork at some point? =) A friend of mine has been there once, and another friend's husband is from Finland....but I think they're still stateside. So, it probably is Bjork!
