March for Babies

As some of you all probably know, Ryan, Caroline and I were the Ambassador Family for the March of Dimes March for Babies this year.   It was a neat opportunity to learn about the work March of Dimes does for babies born too early.  Caroline received surfactant therapy to help her lung development and the effectiveness of this therapy was discovered by March of Dimes grantees.  Most importantly, I learned that at any given time there is $9,000,000 in research money from March of Dimes in the Texas Medical Center.  For this reason, I am asking you to consider making a gift in support of March of Dimes.  As Ryan and I found out 20 months ago, prematurity affects all types of people… even moms with good prenatal care.

If you are interested in learning more, I’ve included a link to a podcast of a radio show that I was a guest speaker on before the walk.  Podcast

Here is a clip from KPRC the day of the walk.  Caroline made the news again.  KPRC News Clip

Thank you so much for your support!
