Caroline will note be coming home this week. She has taken a step back with her bottle feedings. While we could feed her through the feeding tube at home, the doctors do not want us to have to use it for every feed. The goal is now to get her home next week, but it will depend on her feeds.
I got some good pictures from this weekend. I will try to post them tonight or tomorrow.
Well CRUD!!! Sorry to read this but I'm sure the Doctors are making the best decision.

ReplyDeleteOhhhh :( I know y'all must be disappointed. But speaking from experience and several failed attempts home, she will come home when she's good and ready & on God's time. That's all that matters. I know how hard it is and my heart breaks that you dont' have her "full time" yet. But she is in great hands --- and soon (very very soon) it will all be a distant memory. We've had Q home for just over 3 months and honestly it's hard to remember her time in the NICU. You will just get so immersed in your life with her that it will seem like a lifetime ago. Love y'all!! Hang in there!! Call us if you need.
